The contractors will now be commencing work on Furlong Way Park on Monday 7th December.
WE RESPECTFULLY ASK THAT NO ONE USES THE PARK UNTIL THE WORK IS COMPLETED.
Parking in the car park next to the park will not be possible during the installation.
The picture below shows the equipment that will be installed. The work is taking place in two phases:
- Phase 1 (left side of picture): work will start on Monday 7th December and take approximately 3 weeks.
- Phase 2 (right side of picture): we hope to complete this by the summer of 2022.
