Video of the slides presented to the Caldecote Public meeting

This is a YouTube video of the slides presented to the Caldecote Public meeting held on the 18th May 2021

This is a clinical analysis of the alignment choices we have been given. EWrail have failed to take into consideration the developments planned at Highfields and the impact a 40 foot embankment will make to the entrance to our village. We feel that any Alignments from a North Cambourne station that make a southern approach to Cambridge are not viable.

Parish EWR working group findings on East West Rail published

We have published the Caldecote parishEWR working group  findings on the East West Rail consultation. There are two PDF’s to download, one a summary.

We feel East Rail have failed to realise the impact that both the Bourn Airfield and Linden Homes developments have on the Alignments coming through the top of our Village.

We are in contact with both of these developments and they were as surprised as we were over these plans.

We will arrange a Public meeting so that your concerns can be raised.
